Destination Bagrot Valley, Git-Baltistan

A Hiking Trip to Bagrot Valley

My village Oshikhndas,  is  adjacent to this valley called "Bagrot". Each year a large number local and non local traveling parties chose this piece of heaven for picnic.
Since childhood, I had been hearing my parents and grandparents narrating the accounts of their interactions with the people coming from Bagrot valley, specially the unmatchable hospitality which those people would show once people from oshkikhandas visited Bagrot . Living in a time, when there has occurred a wide gap of two generations between our grandparent's parents and us, I thought it was the perfect time to put to test the warmth and closeness, which was once commonly found among  the people living in my village and Bagrote valley.

So, along with my two friends (Sikandar and Gulbaz), I planned a hiking Trip to Barchi, Bagrot.
Before we could start our trip, we made our logistic preparation and off course the most important, the consent from our respective families for the trip.

Our familes expressed their concerns regarding  weather and timing for this trip but at the end, we succeeded in winning their support and  confidence.

So at 2000 hours sharp, we started our trip from Oshikhndas.

After a 3 and half hours ride from Oshikhndas, we reached to " Bagrot Saraai Hotel" .
The food which we took with us couldn't be divided into three meals, and also its preferable not to eat to much on hiking trips, so
Instead of stuffing our stomachs, we agreed to consume a cup of tea with desi chapati. The hotel owner again showed generosity by offering free parking place for our motorbikes.

Then we started our hiking with our backpacks and the Tent ⛺,which felt quite heavy .

But definitely, the physical labor is insignificant, when your vision and you mind are continuously mesmerized by the splendid sceneries.🌄🏔️🏞️

In bagrot valley, there is a particular dialect of Shina language is spoken, which has its own charm and beauty. .

Camping 🏕️ side, Barcha, Bagrote

So, it's turely  worth experiencing to see how the people express their examplary sincerity and love though this sweet dialect to Shina language

Our final destination... Barchi

Definitely a camera lens can't capture, the actual experience of human vision

This is how the beauty Barchi valley welcomes the visitors

Before reaching our final destination, we had to  spend night at "Daarchi", another peace of heavy high up in the mountains.

This gentleman showed great generosity ☺️

An Amazing combination of  white, blue, and black..

At this palce you literally feel like you're spirituality elevated 🥰
